Maggie Mueller

Maggie grew up in Ethan, SD on a small dairy and cow/calf operation. She went to school at Lake Area Tech were she graduated in  May of 2018 as a large animal tech. Maggie began working at the clinic in March 2018 helping Dr. Dave in large animal. Maggie likes helping on her dad's farm and playing with her dog Millie.

Diane Johnson

Diane was born and raised on a ranch in South Western Montana. She and her family moved to Newcastle 24 years ago to pursue other interests. Diane is a retired horse person with new canine additions to their furry family. Diane has been assisting at the clinic since April of 2017. 


Paige Myrick

Paige grew up in Custer, SD. She has been working at the clinic since 2015 during her high school career. She hopes in the future to attend Iowa State University where she plans to become a small animal veterinarian. Paige enjoys spending time with her rescued dog, Lola, and 2 rescued cats.

Jenny Feigley

Jenny grew up in Milford, MI on a small farm. She has been working as a technician since 2012. She moved to Newcastle and joined the clinic in May of 2017. Jenny enjoys riding her 2 horses, Indy and Pistol, and spending time with her dog Elli.

Summer Cole

Summer grew up in Broken Bow, NE and moved to Wyoming in 2013. She interned at the clinic during her high school career and later went on to college. Summer attended Eastern Wyoming College and graduated with her AAS in veterinary technology in May 2018. Summer enjoys spending time outside with her two dogs, Hagen and Chunky. 

Peggy Morgan

Peggy has lived in Newcastle since 2003 where she raised two children. Peggy joined the clinic in September of 2017 as our new receptionist. We enjoy having Peggy around to help us with office work, schedule appointments, and answer phone calls. Peggy likes spending time her with dog Ruger. 

Jade Roady

Jade grew up in Newcastle and interned at the clinic during her high school career. She continued working here for the summer after she graduated in May of 2017. Jade is attending college at Dakota Wesleyan University where she plans to later get accepted into vet school. She continues to work during summers and breaks. Jade enjoys the summer time and playing with her dog Kody. 

Doctor Susie Button

​Doctor Susie grew up on her family’s cattle ranch just East of Newcastle. She graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2018. Dr. Susie began shadowing at Salt Creek Veterinary Clinic with Doctor Pete during high school and returned during vet school breaks to work for Drs. Dave & Lindsey. She currently has three dogs and one cat.

Dr. Susie is excited to return to her hometown to serve the community! She spends most of her free time helping on the ranch and hiking with her dogs.

Dr. David Sudbrink & Dr. Lindsey Marrotte-Sudbrink


Doctors David and Lindsey graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine.  They met at the University and moved to the Black Hills in 2013.  Dr. Dave started working at Salt Creek Vet Clinic with Doc Pete in July of 2013 and he has enjoyed the opportunity to live and work in Newcastle.  Dr. Lindsey worked as a veterinarian in Rapid City and helped at Salt Creek Vet Clinic on Wednesdays until she moved to Newcastle in 2016 to work full time at Salt Creek vet Clinic.  They currently have 5 dogs, 2 cats, 9 horses, 2 ponies, 4 cows, and a ram.


Lindsey and David had their first child, Grayson Alexander Sudbrink, together on February 4, 2016. They now enjoy being apart of the community and spend most of their free time with Grayson or out riding their horses.

Salt Creek Veterinary Clinic takes pride in their ability to provide full service care for both small animal, equine and herd health including health certificates, equine dental procedures, artificial insemination, vaccinations, pregnancy checking, fertility testing, c-sections, digital x-ray, and advanced diagnostic testing.

They offer a variety of preventative small animal services that range from vaccinations and routine wellness care to diagnostic testing.  They now offer routine surgical procedures, digital x-ray, dental care using new dental equipment, in-house bloodwork and even orthopedic surgery options.

Christy Achterhof

​Christy has been a veterinary technician since 2005. She and her family moved to Newcastle in 2011, and Christy joined the Salt Creek Veterinary Clinic team in the Fall of 2015. She has a fierce passion for anything to do with horses. Christy and her family enjoy their 2 dogs, 3 cats, goat, 6 horses, and bison. When she’s not at work, Christy enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
